Sharing and transfers

We share information with trusted vendors, infrastructure providers, and safety partners who help us operate the SocialCloud network. These partners are bound by confidentiality and data processing terms. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect SocialCloud, our partners, or members. SocialCloud operates globally, and data may be stored in the United States or other regions where we or our sub-processors maintain facilities.

Retention, security, and controls

We retain data for as long as necessary to provide the Services or as required by law. SocialCloud follows the safeguards outlined on our Security page, including encryption, network monitoring, and access controls. You can configure retention windows, backups, and audit logging for your instance, and we honor contractual requirements agreed upon with enterprise partners.

Your rights and choices

Depending on your location and relationship with SocialCloud, you may exercise the following rights:

  • Request access to the data we maintain about your organization or your individual profile.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information or delete data that is no longer required, subject to legal or contractual limits.

  • Appeal decisions or request a copy of our data processing agreements when acting as a controller.

Updates to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Services or applicable law. We will post the revised version here with a new effective date, and in some cases may notify primary contacts directly. Continued use of the Services after an update signifies acceptance of the revised policy.

To submit a privacy request or ask questions about our data practices, email privacy@socialcloudmail.com or use the contact form. If you are a member of an instance operated by one of our partners, please reach out to that organization first so we can coordinate a timely response.
